NEW LOCATION! - 5770 S Durango Dr
Click on "Appointment Request" above. Pick the day you want to get tattooed, describe what you want in the Notes Section, and submit the request. I'll respond by email for a Free Consultation to get more details about your tattoo, ask if you have any photo references, and answer any questions. After we've settled on all the details, I will send a link to pay a Deposit to secure your appointment slot. Please allow a few days for a response, and keep an eye out for an email!
Your appointment is not held until the Deposit is paid, and you receive a confirmation email/text.
I do almost all consultations via email. Once you've requested an appointment, I'll email you to ask any questions that I'll need to prepare your tattoo before your scheduled appointment time, and answer any questions you may have. If you request a large or difficult cover up, sleevework, or large piece that requires a lot of brainstorming I may ask you to come in for an in-person consultation.
CONSULTATIONS ARE ALWAYS FREE
No. You must be 18+ on the day of your appointment, with photo ID present.
Things happen! I completely understand, don't worry.
Please give me at least 24 hours notice if you're unable to make it to your appointment, but preferably as much notice as possible so that I can try to schedule someone else and still be able to work that day.
If you reschedule with at least 24 hours notice, your retainer fee will be honored at your next appointment.
If you reschedule on short notice, or reschedule the same appointment more than once, the retainer fee is forfeit, and another retainer will be required to schedule again. If you no call no show an appointment, I will likely not book with you in the future, so please let me know if you're unable to make your appointment!
Please give me as much notice as possible if you're unable to make it. Whatever the reason is, I'll have to try and fill the vacant time slot in order to still work that day. Because of this, please understand that the Booking Retainer (Deposit) is non-refundable for any reason to partially cover my time and the vacancy, but will be honored at your next appointment if you reschedule with at least 24 hours notice.
What Payment Types do you Accept?

Cash, Credit/Debit, Zelle, Venmo
Please note that all credit/debit card payments will have Local/State Tax added to the cost automatically by the card reader. Cash, Zelle and Venmo payments do not have tax added to the price.
You must be at least 18 years of age to be tattooed, no exceptions.
The Health Department requires all tattoo procedures to begin with signing a waiver of consent, with all of the clients contact information, and proof of Identification. The lot numbers of every single needle and ink I use during our procedure is recorded on this waiver, and is kept by the shop, for The Health Department. You will read and sign this waiver in order to consent to the tattoo procedure.
Eating a good meal before, and/or during your session is extremely important. Your body will be using a ton of Adrenaline during the tattoo to help numb out some of the pain, and not having food/energy will make your adrenaline crash sooner, resulting in a more painful tattoo. Feel free to bring snacks!
For longer sessions (4+ hours) my clients and I often order food to help us both get through the remainder of the session, and this helps a ton with adrenaline crash. Carbs like rice or pasta are highly recommended for quick energy.
Being Hydrated results in healthier skin, better equipped to heal your tattoo. Drink a ton of water in the days before your appointment, and bring beverages with you to your appointment. I also have bottled water available at the shop
Wear something that allows for easy access to the tattoo location. For chest/sternum/butt/upper thighs/full backs, a clean bathing suit/bikini top/bottom, or thong, is a good choice and easy to work around. We have privacy screens, and also Pasties on hand if you need them. Do not wear anything that you'll be devastated if it gets stained, just in case ink sprays on it.
Be comfortable. You might be sitting here a while, and it might not always be super pleasant. Wear something comfy. Bringing headphones, a phone charger, a book, or a handheld game sometimes helps take your mind out of the tattoo.
Please let me know if you will be more than 10 minutes late, whether by email, or responding to the Appointment Reminders. This is usually no problem, it just helps me contact any other clients I have in a timely manner if I need to push back their appointment a little bit. If you arrive very late, depending on the situation, I may need to reschedule you if I won't have enough time to complete the tattoo. Thank you for understanding!
Tattoos heal better on healthy skin. In the days before your appointment, moisturize the area that will be tattooed well. This isn't crucial, but it does help! Any lotion is fine, but I highly recommend Palmers Cocoa Butter, since I recommend this for aftercare as well.
Aftercare is the most important part of a well-healed tattoo. I guarantee all of my work, so long as you follow my aftercare instructions. Click Here for instructions on how to care for your tattoo, and see the supplies you'll need.
Different product ingredients, UV Exposure, sunburn, and damage from swimming/extended time underwater, result in different negative effects on freshly healing tattoos.
My aftercare products of choice are specifically chosen for this very dry, and very sunny climate. Please follow my instructions, and my instructions only, and feel free to ask questions!
Your waiver will ask you a bunch of health questions. Please also talk to me about any health conditions you think might be relevant, or if you are on any medications, so that I can take any necessary precautions for both of our safety.
If you are allergic to Peppermint, Latex, or Adhesives, or have ever experienced an infection or allergic reaction to ink in the past, please let me know before we start.
I will always do everything I can to make sure you're comfortable during your tattoo. If this is your first tattoo, it is difficult to describe what to expect it to feel like, but I promise most of the time it's less painful than you're anticipating. Most people describe it as being "annoying" rather than painful, but it will definitely hurt. Tattoos are most painful when they require 3+ hours, are extremely detailed, or are located in a sensitive area. Being hungry, dehydrated, sleep deprived, hung over, or sick will also make the tattoo feel much more painful.
If you plan on using, or are considering using numbing cream, please let me know. Follow the instructions on the cream exactly. Oftentimes, they are most effective if applied liberally 2 to 3 hours BEFORE your appointment, and wrapped in saran wrap to soak in. Sometimes a second coat after one hour of leaving it wrapped is recommended. Instructions vary by product, follow them carefully.
If the numbing cream contains Epinephrine, or Lidocaine, do not drink coffee or caffiene on the day of your appointment, neither before or after. The mixture of these ingredients with caffiene, can potentially cause serious heart palpitations.
Don't use anything with more than 5% lidocaine, intended for topical use only. Anything higher can potentially stop your heart.
I have Numbing Spray on hand, but this is only effective after the skin is opened, and only works during long shading sessions.
